Meeting Rooms

Howfield has a number of rooms which can be set up in a variety of styles.  The largest function room has its own bar and toilets, and  can be used for larger meetings, seating up to 80 theatre-style.  For smaller meetings, syndicate rooms, private dining and board meetings, the historic wing of the house has a suite of interconnecting rooms, which can all be arranged to suit you.  There are extensive grounds and intimate formal gardens at Howfield, and these can be brought into your event, whether serving refreshments outside,organising a team-building event or even using the outdoors for a meeting space, depending on the weather of course.

Howfield is easily accessible from the motorway network, avoiding town centre traffic in Canterbury, and has ample free parking on site.

Privately owned and operated,  Howfield takes an individual approach to each customer whether planning a business meeting or the perfect wedding.  Not having to fit a pre-determined mould set by a far-away head office, we can offer flexibility in accommodation, menus and event planning. We do have a guideline Day Delegate and 24-hour Delegate rate, to help you to budget for meetings, or items can be individually selected and priced.
